How to make a pattern to fit in the “big bangle theory”

Summary: Have you heard of “big bangle theory” before? Our how to make a pattern tutorial is going to tell you a simple but splendid way to make a bracelet of such theory.

Date : Sep 10, 2012

Brenda Schweder created an interesting pattern design theory called “big bangle theory”, that is, to keep the beads involved as big as possible, so the inside of bangle will look relatively smaller to a large extent. Our “how to make a pattern” is about to tell you the way of this pattern making and which can set off your slender wrist and feminine gentleness.

Materials for how to make a pattern-bicone bangle:

16 bicone beads of your choice, 2 bangles with also 16 loops, silver wires, round nose plier, wire cutter

How to make a pattern step 1: make the silver wires ready

Use cutter to cut a piece of silver wire 2.5 centimeters long, and then use plier to loop one end of the piece.

How to make a pattern step 2: insert the beads for pattern design

First, place twin silver bangles on the working table;

Second, insert one bicone bead in between;

Third, thread the prepared silver wire through a loop of the first bangle, the bicone and then the second bangle loop;

Fourth, use plier to loop the other end of the silver wire, and cut off the excess part.

How to make a pattern step 2

How to make a pattern step 3: complete the big bangle pattern making

Repeat the previous steps, and install all the rest beads into bangles.

How to make a pattern step 3

So the big bangle pattern making is done, and our how to make a pattern is also completed. During the process of this project, we advise you to attach four beads into bangles at equidistant points, which will help secure the bangles from out of shape before others installed.
