How to knot pearls Step 1: prepare the strings

First, generally measure how long your common necklace is, and decides the length of this pearl necklace.

Second, cut a strand of string twice or three times long as the desired necklace, and thread this string through the beading needle.

Third, pull the string, making it form a large loop and get the ends of string tied together as a double knot. Then the string becomes a closing loop.

First, add one part of clasp to the double strings, make the needle back through the loop behind clasp and pull the needle until the clasp move to the end.

Second, thread all the pearls you’ve prepared one by one and with beading needle you can thread several at once. But remember to straighten the strings when pearls group stands on; do not tangle the strings together, which would cause messy troubles, trust me.

Second, move the second one to the unit closely and still double knot the strings under the pear, then repeat the step, till all the pearls knotted. So every pearl is positioned by two ties
